From Mr. Sponsorpants

I saw this gem on Mr. Sponsorpants blog. It lessens the pain the alcoholic has caused, and has never made amends for.


"I had to face that there were some relationships my drinking had crippled, and although they might eventually mend, there would always be a limp. My living 9th Step amends to those people is that although I can't ever make it all better, I can try (hard) never to make it any worse"
