Jury Duty

Im in a courthouse, waiting in a jury pool. I DO NOT WANT TO BE HERE....but since I have no choice, here is some gratitude I have found relating to this experience:

1. Morning rushhour traffice was amazingly light. Getting her so easily made me say a big thank you to God.

2. Security screening to enter courthouse also very light, and they allowed my 2 bottled waters to get thru, despite the sign saying "No liquids".

3. The folks here seem to be very likeable and informative, and the room has wireless!

4. I am set with my rolling briefcase filled with my lunch, lappie, books, jackets - pretty much all the comforts I need. (Except the small pillow I wanted to bring in...drat:)

5. I am free. This court house is criminal, and there are people here today that dont/wont have the freedom I have. THAT is a blessing.

More to be revealed as the day goes by...Happy Wednesday, everyone, unless you've made other plans?

No other plan than to do what I know to be right--today. Have a list!

Wonderful how you turned a jury-pool-wait-time into an experience for being grateful!

The best is: some are there who cannot leave. You were free to go and sleep in your own bed.
